ADHA has provided its constituents and incorporated components access to a customized Directors & Officers Liability program to protect directors & officers from liability resulting from decisions they’ve made on behalf of the organization. Cost savings have been negotiated for ADHA.

  • Who is protected under this policy?

    Past, present or future Directors; Trustees; Officers; Board Members; Paid, Leased, Temporary Employees; Volunteers or Staff Members of the Organization.

  • What is the available coverage?
    • $1,000,000 per claim with Blanket Annual Aggregate of $ 5,000,000 with $2,500 retention
    • Policy includes Employment Practices Liability included in the above policy limits

  • What are some of the policy features?
    • Defense costs are outside the policy limits
    • Duty to Defend coverage
    • First Dollar Defense coverage
    • Entity coverage
    • Outside Director coverage on other non-profit boards
    • Punitive Damages, where allowed by law
    • Discrimination and violations of the ADA act

  • What are some of the benefits of a Blanket D&O policy?
    • Min premium is as low as $318 for partial year and maximum of $424 for full annual
    • Receive all the benefits of a Comprehensive D&O policy without the high premium
    • Easy to complete application
    • Coverage is guaranteed

  • What are some of the standard exclusions?
    • No coverage for dishonest, fraudulent, criminal or malicious acts or omissions
    • No coverage for claims relating to bodily injury, sickness, disease or death
    • No coverage for injury to or destruction of property
    • For losses covered under other valid policies for which notice of claim has been given
    • Pollution
